Visit North West Montana
The North Forty Resort invites you to make reservations to visit us in NorthWest Montana
Winter Wonderland at the North Forty
...its real here in Montana. Check out the short blurb below to give you a better picture of Glacier Nation Park in the midst of winter (it’s a short drive from us too)!
Winter is officially upon us! The weather is crisp and cold, the ground is covered in snow and the days are officially getting shorter.
FALL IN THE FLATHEAD
With the summer season ending and the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park closing on October 1st, the most common questions we are being asked is “What is there to do in the Flathead?”
Travel – it’s how we see different parts of our world and meet family and friends. And, it’s best to be prepared!
COOKING VS. EATING OUT
One of the best parts of vacation is all the different food and restaurants you can experience. But its also one of the most expensive parts of traveling. If you can find a hotel or resort with a kitchen, then you can enjoy the best of both worlds!
No Flooding Here
Most of our Montana travelers/visitors have been apprised of our recent levels of rain and flooding - mostly impacting Yellowstone.
Beyond Glacier Park
... did you know that the Flathead Valley has much more to offer than just Glacier National Park? The town of Whitefish is a popular vacation destination with a great downtown area with a variety of shops and some of the best dining in the Valley.
Summer is Coming
April is hurrying by and we’re headed into the fulness of summertime! If, you wanted to make reservations for the summer at the North Forty Resort, now, is the time.
REST, RELAXATION AND ROMANCE! Having a destination wedding is a great way to celebrate your love in an intimate and special way. It allows your wedding to become unique to the two of you with the added bonus of incorporating your honeymoon!
Life Saving Idea
How’s that for an attention-grabbing headline? It sounds outlandish and more like click bait than actual scientific fact, but recent research has proven that taking a vacation can actually prolong your life!
March has arrived as we shore up the first quarter and prepare for our summer events: weddings, concerts, Glacier National Park visitors, reunions, seminars, et cetera, here in the Flathead Valley.
It’s the middle of February and the weather is fairly mild – mostly high 30’s with one day in the 50’s which felt quite balmy (Fahrenheit)!
